I gave myself one minute to complete each lap, and generally took 24-32 seconds, leaving me an interval workout of sorts. 1 unit swim, 1 unit rest. Except, I did 2 units swim, 2 units rest. Swim for 1:04, rest for :56. ‘Twas nice, the first swim of the month.
